Prince pulls out as Dexter Jackson pulls ahead of Lee Priest
Minutes before the 10 AM prejudging start time, Tom Prince pulled out of the 2004 Ironman being staged at the Pasadena Civic Center in rain-sodden Southern California. Hospitalized by serious kidney malfunction last year (a story featured in the January '04 issue of FLEX) Prince had battled through his 12-week contest prep to arrive at Friday's weigh-in at a contest-ready and remarkable 276 pounds. However, overnight his lungs began to fill with fluid and finding it difficult to breath, he had to pull out of the contest and go for kidney dialysis at a local LA hospital. We'll have more updates on Prince's condition as the story develops.
At the contest itself, Dexter Jackson stood out as the clear leader, with Lee Priest (at 199 pounds) a solid second. Observing the callouts it seemed that Ahmad Haidar, Craig Titus and Gustavo Badell were battling for the third and final Olympia qualifying spot.

"Earlier, FLEXonline reported that Tom Prince, scheduled to compete in the show, had been taken to a hospital after suffering health problems. While Prince did have to bow out of the contest due to illness, he did not require hospitalization and is doing well."

Look at the wheels of Haidar in the last pic on your 16th post. Unbelieveable proportions, size and symetry all in one. He always puts together a great package. However judging from these pics it is obvious that Dexter was the clear winner. Lee looked great expecially compared to last years Mr. Olympia. However he is still holding a bit of water in his legs. Like I would be better!! hahaha I wish! But this is just what I am seeing.

That is the best i've ever seen lee look. Dexter looked phenominal as well. good job by the judges for 1-2, but after that i disagree.

Cutler was there though. Just not as a competitor. He looked so huge in person. So did Ronnie. I was there Sunday so I missed the prejudging also but it was still great

i dont see the deal with craig titus i saw him look good in 99 but not since! i am glad dexter jackson is doing what he is because with that physique he is flawless. hopefully judging will start looking at asthetics more so than just mass!
