My post office is requiring "delivery confirmation"
I ordered some clen through express mail a few days ago, and got the little pink slip from the post office saying that a delivery confirmation signature is required. I emailed lion about this, and apparantly a signature should never be required. So, I called the post office to tell them to redeliver, and asked them why they didn't leave it. The said maybe no one was at my apartment office to take it. Whatever......So, last night, in my box, was another note. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? What is my best bet?

that does sound really fishy, but if you throw a big big fuss...it will raise some eyebrows....and i'm sure questions would follow

I never had this happen before. I have heard lion say that a signature is never required too.

Could be due to the fact that you ordered "express mail". This sometimes requires a confirmation signature. Not the same as "priority mail".

we always wave the signature. Everything we sell in legal go sign for it.

update
Well, I went to the post office to sign for my package yesterday. They went to go find it.....a lady came back up and said they were still looking.....still looking.... I'm sweating bullets now and looking for an escape. Several minutes later, the lady comes out, hands me my package, I sign, and all is good. I went ahead and asked her why, and it is because I overnighted. Makes sense.....thanks Lion!

With fedx you can register with them to leave packages even if they are sig required. Not sure if USPS express or UPS do the same thing. I always just use priority mail.
Glad it worked out.

Sometimes they won't leave things at apt doors due to the high rate of things being ganked. Maybe they thought it too large to go into the tiny apt mailboxes? Glad it worked out
