SIGH* another newbie question about Lions clen
I just got my clen /taurine combo from Lions site, very fast shippng. I am a newbie to this things, i read a lot about clen in this forum, and its been really very informative. I am using clen to loose fat. before i start taking clen, i just want to clear somethings.....my questions are:
1. when i spray the clen in my mouth, is it under the tongue or above it, and do i drink water after spraying?
2. when do i take the taurine supplement, is it before i sleep or after i spray it in my mouth?
3. Do i really need a potassium supplement or can i just eat bananas for potassium?
4. can i just take clen on the days that i am working out, or this is not good
5. last is... do i need to refrigirate the clen or any temp will not spoil it?

1. After you spray the clen in your mouth and swallowed, drink water.
2. I do not think it matters when you take your taurine.
3. It is still up for debate if potassium supplement helps prevent cramping (unlike taurine). If you want to be on the safe side, I would supplement the potassium to avoid the simple sugars.
4. I would read the clen handbook and base your dosing off the schedule you choose.

using ARRs' Liquid Clen (first timer)
5'8"
224pounds
bf% - ???
just started gym 9 days ago, although not everyday.
diet=i try to avoid food with a lot of sodium, no soda as much as possible
other supp: tongkat ali, 0mega 3 and centrum multivitamin. would like to add milk thistle though.
first pump....8:30pm(i work at midnights to mornings)
(1 squirt=20mcg) took 1 tablet of taurine afterwards, 1 hr passby, i didnt get the shakes or any side effects, throat was dry, i was sweating a little and felt sleepy and a little tingle here and there.
ate 2 bananas
2nd pump....4:30am
(1 squirt=20mcg)same thing is happening, didnt take taurine supp though. i feel that my temp is going up, but no sweating... i think i need to up the dosage.
eager to go to the gym after work, coworker rushed to the hospital and now i have to do another 9 hr shift *sigh

Since you are first-timer, with clen , I would run it by itself so you can determine its effectiveness.

logging my experience again.
well i didnt get to do for 3 days, worked 18 hours back to back, so today before i did my chores i did 2 squirts(40mcg), i did get a little shake, i mean very little..... only in my left thumb when i was in the bank. not really sweating again, although after the gym(drank tongkat ali after work out) and i got home im still sweating, dunno if this is the effect of clen or from the gym. anyway, didnt lose any pounds, actually i gained a pound, i think because i didnt get to work out for 3 days plus my diet was a little off.
thinking of yohimburn ES.....or xenical.....
maybe after this bottle of clen

Suma root is much better that Milk thisle. Clen takes 1.5 hr to get in your system

ok pump some clen (3 squirts=60mcg) today at work, about an hour ago.
so far i feel warm, not really sweating yet and a little bit jittery, no shakes, took it with 1 capsule of taurine. i'll be hitting the gym after work(7th). hopefully i will sweat like a horse and loose all those body fats.
diet= i eat anything i like, but i just dont over eat like before
my body do look a little different now, but still a long way to go, still need to loose a lot of fats... stubborn fats too, specially the side of the chest, love handles and chin.
reading about cutting gels and ripping gels, wonder if they help or they work.

clen is not the answer for you.. you are hopeless I feel.
You want to lose fat but not eat correctly? How does that make any sense.

the youhimburn will cook you. I would wait and see how you feel on the clen . remember you don't want to shake that is a negative side effect.
You got to get the diet in check. It is 95% of the battle.
Diet ..Diet ..Diet...cut your carbs and restrict calories.

thanks lion, i thought the shakes is one side that you know that it is working, thats why im always waiting to get the shakes... lolz
and for my diet, i used to be lean back when i was teen and i ate burgers, fries, milkshakes all the time, worked at mcdonalds for 2 yrs and ate bigmacs for 2 yrs also. and never was fat. the fats that i got was from over eating/ over indulging, and over drinking with no exercise...oh yeah and depression and stress helped too. so on my new diet, i eat the food that i like as long as i dont over eat which i intend to do most of the time thats why i got fat(ex.instead of eating double quarter pounder with cheese with large fries, a large drink, and a sundae) i would go for a filet sandwhich or grilled chicken sandwhich with small fries(sometimes i dont eat them) and a small drink (not soda), or a nice cobb salad and a juice). i dont restrict myself to the diet you all take, but compared to what my eating habits before, this is already a diet to me, as i progress thru this diet, i will be more stricter and stricter on myself on my eating habits.... plus i am back hitting the gym only 2 weeks ago, im trying to get the rythm again, maybe when im about half a year exercising, i might go to a strict diet. feeling healthy is more important now(e.g. not to get easily tired when walking up a stairs).
i am new to this supps things and hope it works, a little boost is nice.
oh yeah, i dont intend to really bulk up like a bodybuilder, a nice proportioned body is good enough for me
update:
2 weeks(not everday though and a week on liquid clen ) in the gym and im seeing less fats and a little muscle developing already, although im not loosing pounds(actually lost a pound ), it seems that the muscle that im getting is heavy too, the abs seems tighter, a little less fat than before, in the next two weeks im going to train chest and abs more, the golds gym i go to doesnt have that old style situp boards, i really liked that, also i dont see any roman situps, used to be my fav when i was a teen, i guess i just have to improvise.
lion, what do you suggest for puffy cheeks and chin(chin is getting less fat now although my cheeks stays the same)? since i dont think they have an exercise for it, any supps you can suggest? and believe me, my cheeks is always the last one to loose the fats, i will look like a match stick with this cheeks when i loose weight.

if you want to loose fat bulk up. More muscle means more calories burned per hour. South beack diet is a good place to start for someone of you experence.

Lose the BF and the cheeks will disappear.. you're fat, that's why you have fat cheeks and a double chin.

i know, i look funny, like some stick figurewhen i lost those fats, i remember when i lost a lot of weight before and when i look in the mirror, i dont have the double chin but mmmmaaannnnn... the cheeks! why oh why does it have to loose fat the last!!! i would rather have my belly the last to loose fats! lolz! but it did go away after a couple of weeks i think or about a month.
i just want to loose the fats in my cheeks at the same time im loosing some fats in other areas. just to be proportioned..... *sighLast edited by mannix; 07-13-2006 at 10:02 AM.

Genetics my friend.. gotta just make the best of it and be happy with what you have, plenty of ppl have much worse problems than chubby cheeks lol

did 4 squirts on my break time(80mcg), about an hour now i dont feel anything, ill be doing cardio and mostly abs later after work, if i dont feel my temp rising, is it ok to take hydroxycut hardcore or just any energy drink is good?

I understand these products may help aid in fatloss a little bit but diet is key.. without a sound diet/training program you will get nowhere.
I don't recall seeing you post your current diet in the Diet Forum?

i know diet is the key, but for now i dont have a diet, i just eat less now, not like before, plus i dont eat before going to bed which i do a lot, definitely no soda and fries now for me.
and yehey! 7 days into the gym i lost 4 pounds
also im adding green tea on my diet, drink two packs a day(one before work and one before going home from work)
i was doing some delts earlier and the left front delt felt like it rip something, it was painful but after a while it was gone, is this how i should be lifting? where it feels like its like ripping something?

I'd hire a personal trainer if I were you at this point..
It sounds like you need to change/fix/learn a lot.
