Anyone from new york?

i have a question regarding the legality of purchasing needles + syringes in new york city pharmacies...meaning? is a prescription required for this task? Beign in the millitary bfre + overseas..this issue never came up. And now im in need of some sharps and was wondering if i can just walk into a pharmacy in new york and buy some 22g's? ..dosent have to be 22 gauge..i can settle for 21...but you get the picture ( i hope im not breaking any rules asking this..if so..sorry)

PS - i noticed the word "needles" is highlighted blue in my post...so i clicked it..and it took me to a needle ordering page....umm...is this legit ?im not gonna mention the name of the site or anything..but yeah...is it?

Yes that site is ok. I'm in Jersey City but go to New Yrk often. I see the junkies going in the pharmacys without perscriptions all the time to get there syringes. You can only go to certain ones. Duane Reade is one of them. It is legal in New York.

I always buy mine from the board sponsor...totally legit & good stuff with fast shipping...& I dont have to go into a pharmacy with sweaty palms asking around for syringes..

I used to buy insulin needeles from the pharmacy. They passed a law some years ago that with a valid driver's license you ARE allowed to buy needles from your neighborhood pharmacy. I guess they had to do it for people who have diabetes so that just incase of an emergency they can get them easy and not worry. I'm not sure about other pins like 22 or 23ga but i know insulin ones are easy to obtain.

Yes, you can buy needles in Manahattan from the pharmacy, can't comment on other parts of the state

Comercial pharmacist only cary insulin syringes in New York, You will never find a 23 or 22 guage at a CVS, Ekerds, Or wallgreens. They are flat out not allowed to sell them and if they are report them and you will collect a high reward of money. Only pharmacist that are registerd through the distributation of low guage syringes in New York and are licsenced to sell them have them. For example mainly private owned pharmacys. I did not want to give anynames cause i dont know if its on the rules or not lol

im from new york and i tried every place in my county and the only store that sold them was wallgreens. i could only buy 10 at a time tho and u hafta give ur name and address but they didnt ask for ID. the pharmacist gave me a little lecture on the side effects of steroids . i jus said it was for b12. since then i've ordered them online plus I could get more than 10 if i ordered online.
