Yes, you do look like a beginner. Reminds me of how I used to look when I started lifting 14 years ago. It takes years for ectomorphs like yourself to start looking really muscular. But don't get discouraged! Eat a lot, train hard and heavy and you will see enough progress to keep you motivated over the years. Eventually you will get there. When you are 24 and have been lifting for at least two years you can consider a cycle of test to give you a boost, but remember that steroids are simply a boost. The training and eating you do between cycles are far more important IMO.

^ I also agree. Hang in there though! One thing to remember in the "instant results/instant gratification" society we all inhabit, this weight lifting and body building thing, absolutely, positively, unequivocally does NOT follow those rules. Its one thing that sets those of us apart from most people and makes us so proud of what we accomplish and what we learn. You'll definitely be a part of a small minority should you decide to stay on this path. Good luck man!

No. But stay encouraged as others are telling you. It takes time to get good results. The key is consistency. Stick with it. Train hard, Eat a lot, and get rest and you will get results.

mate,
I'd say if someone showed me that pic by itself, without the question, then I'd say no, the person in that pic does not lift weights.
Having said that, always, the best progress for gains comes in the first six to twelve months. So the upside is you have a lot of good potential ahead of you!!
Happy lifting =)

Its always about numbers. A ever or every other month picture, in the same lighting and distance from camera and pose....various posses too. Also measurements don't lie!!!!

No it doesnt look like you have ever lifted. If you have just train harder and eat a sh*tload more food.
No wonder you think 85kg could be your max, its becasue you are so far from it but no you could get a lot bigger than that.
He is 6'1

Looking good man! Keep training slowly adding weight as you gain size and get stronger, remember nutrition is key! try and eat every 2hours and have protein shakes, more food the better to gian size, I was once not much bigger then you forcing myself to eat 6-7 big meals a day plus shakes and I gained 35lbs or pure muscle in a year naturally before I started to use alot of gear!
