scary injection!

I was injecting the left butt cheek...

I swabbed, inserted needle, aspirated, pulled plunger back, saw a bubble but no blood. I injected and pulled the needle out, Usually there is just a small drop of blood but this time there was a ton, enough to run down my leg and put a bunch of drops on the floor as I held the alcohol swab to the injection spot. I dunno what the hell that was all about, I assume I went through a vein putting the needle in but injected passed it. Should I be worried??

Because you don't want to be IN one when injecting...In your case, you just went THROUGH one. Injecting oil directly into the vien can be a nasty experience.

What happens if you do inject in the vein?

On the brighter side I'm only 3 1/2 weeks in to my first cycle (sus 300@450mg per week) and I gained 15 lbs already.

Well, think of it this way... Everything in your veins goes back to the heart and then to little tiny capalaries in the lungs where it picks up oxygen. Now throw a bunch of oil in there. Not only do you now have straight oil running through your veins, but you lungs have to filter it out. Not healthy, very uncomfortable, and it can POSSIBLY lead to death.

No big deal, you most likely just nicked a vein but did not inject into it or anything like that. Sounds like you had the same thing happen to you as happened to me last week. Also, the other day I tried in my left glute. This is tough for me because I cant stretch around good to the left. When I got the needle in, I needed a break and let go and looked forward for a second. Then when I would try to reach back around to grab the needle to try to aspirate my glute would flex and the syringe would shoot off into another direction. It moved more than 45 degrees away from my hand making it almost impossible to grab the syringe. I had to reach behind my back with my right hand to pull the needle out. Bizarre.
Good luck and dont worry about it. You simply went through a vein and when you pulled out the needle it started to bleed.

If you get any bigger and find that you are even less flexible maybe you should get a piece of string and tie one end around your wrist and the other around the plunger just in case

You should have taken some nifty pictures like I did.

As for the 7.3ml in hindsight I should have split it up. I was just lucky that it was dosed at 250mg/ml and not 50mg/ml or it would have been 36ml.

i think the difference is that you hit a vein at some point with the needle passing through... you didn't inject INTO a vein - which is why you aspirate - if the needle fills with blood you'd be shooting right into a vein, which is bad

You would have oil running through your blood which would pass through your heart and lungs and you would definatly cough your a$$ off. I believe someone answered up in the thread but all in all it would definalty suck

If you inject into a vein, hopefully you will then notice this when aspirating and before injecting anything into the vein.

Yes my first inject this year I went through a vein and in was crazy but I hit the carpet with a wet towel fast and NO STAIN. As for aspiration its a MUST ! So go figure my first inject of the year and this, so pissed. I cant wait for an easier way, oh yes I can.
