    "ah geez not this shit again"

    drinking raw eggs is the same as drinking whey. it goes right through you.

    very little bio-availability to raw eggs.

    not saying your wrong here, it is less effective then eating them cooked... i usually eat a meal 1 1/2 hours after my 10 egg whites, cuz im hungary that quick... but it does give your body a quick shot of protien in the morning when its needed

    this has been discussed a million times on here.

    I know I'm right.

    it's funny that people are trained to think they have to eat eggs in the am. I don't have the time to cook 10egg whites and eat them in the am. But in the evening, sure. I'll make an omlet.

    only time I'd consider egg whites is pwo.

    hey, the guy is giving sound advice... if your gonna flame people who are here to help you, your gonna get sh*t in return...

    what he's saying is right, if it was wrong i'd be raining down on him with a fury.....

    eggs are more benefitial when cooked........

    i (having little time in the morning) eat them raw, but usualy kill a full meal 1 1/2 hours after that..

    we're not gonna give you the answer you WANT to hear, just what we feel is the truth...

    Dude, egg whites do not stick with me very long either. I have plenty of time in the morning, so I generally eat 8-10 egg whites, a cup of oats, two pieces of toast, and a glass of milk. That sticks to your ribs buddy!

    My egg whites are liquified and come in a bucket, though, so I dunno how many is really there. I just eat 3/4 of a cup of them cooked

    are they pastuerized? if not then you are losing some bioavailibility

    Lead to eventual biotin deficiencies if done too often since avidin isn't 'deactivated' when raw.

    The ah geez was more of a "not this discussion again"

    It wasn't meant to be rude at all. Derek has been on the board a long time and I have seen him involved in this identical discussion countless times. He gives solid advice, you should follow his posts more often and maybe you'd learn a think or two.

    To the topic of the post, I have been having trouble burning my egg whites even when spraying PAM on the pan. So when I eat them they seem to be a little watery and MAYBE undercooked, rather than a golden brown type of "burnt" crust around them. Theyre egg whites their consistency sucks, I just try to wake up 15 minutes early to fire down 8-10 fluffy bland egg whites

    I personally don't know shit about eggs but i assumed people who drank them raw did it because it was BETTER for you.
    Now I read cooked is more beneficial.

    Which ponders me to think, as fvckn nasty as drinking a raw egg is, what kind of crazy mfkr doesnt have the time to boil about 60 eggs every sunday and put them bitches in the fridge so you don't need to cook them every morning if its really that inconvenient for you.

    you don't even have to hard boil them actually, you can pasteurize you own eggs by putting them in water at 140-150 degrees for 3-5 minutes, any higher temp and the eggs will start cooking but if you do it right you have then activated the enzyme that increases the bioavailibility of the protein in the eggs

    anytime bro, personally i just buy liquid egg whites in cartons and bring them to school, then poke a whole in one side and shotgun them, but Reed said to add a little milk and they actually taste good, so that's another suggestion if you can't stand the taste

    When I do eat them I just put them in a glass of skim milk and toss them right down. My girlfriend thinks it is gross but she will swallow my jiz so I don't get it.

    Fellers, way too much work. On my post above, I go to lanaseggwhites.com and order the bucket of them. $45 anywhere in the US (shipping included) gets you a 8.5 lb bucket o'pure egg whites. I love 'em, Jay Cutler loves 'em. If they're good enough for him, they're good enough for me. Check out the website. Way cheaper and more efficient than buying ten dozen eggs every time you go to wal-mart. And they don't taste too bad with some Louisiana hot sauce

    What about pasturized eggs? I was under the impression that egg whites had a significantly slower digestion rate than whey

    They don't ship to Canada, which sucks my nut sack. I'd be all over that shit. How many liters (or gallons) of egg whites do you think there are in that 8.5lb bucket?

    I've never heard about this. After doing this, are the eggs still in liquid form? Like could I still crack them, take the yoke out, and drink the whites?

    well...

    8.5lbs=3855.5g

    244g=1cup egg whites

    8egg whites per cup

    1egg white is around one oz

    simple math from there

    Do omelets really take you guys that long to make? I just whip out the pan, heat it up while making my oats, pour out 3/4c or 1c, and cook. Takes like 5-7 mins total.

    That's not really good deal at all then.... 3855.5g is approximately 16 cups of egg whites. 16 cups for $45 is $2.81 a cup? I can get pasturized egg whites from costco for $1.50 per 500g. That's $0.75 a cup? Something isn't right there

    i agree, the cartons i buy are 2 for $4 and are 16oz each, i can get it even cheaper if i buy bigger cartons as well

    i worked out the eggwhitesint once and found that they were actually very expensive and not worth it IMO compared to what i can get where i live
