    Question about switching things up

Hey guys I was wondering when you switch your workouts up every 8-12 weeks or so do you guys also change your split and set/rep-range? for example you would be doing 3 sets per exercise and when you switch it up you do 4 sets per exercise and so forth?

it would be very wise to switch up rep ranges because your body will adapat and plateua.. you will maximize white twitch muscle fibers but lack red fast twitch so youll have to try to target each to allow for more growth... REP ranges is more important IMO than anything else to change.... but yea definately change exercises/reps IMO

What would say say are ideal rep ranges to alternate between when switching things up?

well i do somethign liek this

CUTTING- 8 REPS MAX, THEN SOME 12 REPS MAX, MAYBE SOME 6 REPS TO STIMULATE SOME WHITE TWITCH FOR EXAMPLE ON A CARB UP DAY

BULKING-4 REPS MAX ON FIRST 2 SETS OF SOME COMPOUND MOVEMEMENTS, 6 REPS ON SOME OTHERS, AND THEN SOME 12 REPS TO STIMULATE RED FAST TWITCH.

for me ive tried 12 reps max and it hasent worked out for me. my sweet spot is 4-8.
