    flex in between sets

do you guys flex between sets. no one in my gym does it and i feel weird doing like im showing up. i used to do it all the time and had really high bicep peaks from doing it and more cuts in my muscles. i dont really do it anymore. is there really an advantage to doing it. i assume there is if your trying to compete cause you gotta know how to flex and do certain poses.

some bodybuilders do a whole routine as a part of a workout. I think if i saw a guy doing poses in the mirror after every set i would just assume he's a tool

flexing/stretching is important but after you're done your workout. I do around 7-10 min of stretching/flexing after every workout.

I've heard that a good flex and hold a few times at the end of a WO will really rush some blood in and help stretch for growth. I'm going to start trying this.

wait till after to flex... it will likely ruin your recovery time between sets since you are contracting your muscles continously

Its ok as long as your huge and ripped, otherwise you look like a tool.

that's what i was thinking. im gonna be doing a show in april in need to work on my posing. after my workouts im going to start working on my routine. it's one thing to have the muscles but another to know how to properly flex and have total control over them and know how to pose fluently and properly.
