Your title of thread and question are totally different. What are you asking?
If you are running gear you need to hit the gym hard every time you goOriginally Posted by trenhead1
Well the past couple weeks mate I been on aas and I'm just gagging gym everyday I'm hitting it hard every day I feel ok no doms etc but I just don't want to back track on gains as suchOriginally Posted by Papa Smurf
If your wondering if its ok to miss a workout? Dorian Yates suggests training 3-4 times a week. But his sessions were brutal. Resting is good
Recovery is crucial. Your gains will suffer if you do not recover. You build muscle when you recover, you break down muscle in the gym. Take a rest day or 2 and see what that can do for you.
Sorry bro I don't think you should train more than 4-5 days each week. When you train hit it hard and rest harder on off days
Every time I lift, I do so with fierce, dominant, intensity, I completely wreck whatever muscle group I'm working, the muscles that were worked are quivering & hardly of any use for the rest of the day. EVERY TIME.....EVERY WORKOUT.....
Train like you mean it........or step aside......
All great points above. Train harder then your mind wants to let you. Definitely take time to rest. I know the feeling you have. I train 6 days sometimes just because I'm so pumped to get back at it. Lately my rest days have included grilling and watching movies. That make it a little easier knowing I have something fun to look forward to outside of the gym.
This may sound dum but is rest just relaxing as such laying down chilling etc as I do loads off that being Unimployed ATM with how shit and hard it is to get work in the uk I thought rest was sleep lol
Basically it's giving your body a break and not working muscle groups. It can be a wide range of things.Originally Posted by trenhead1
It is in sleep though when your body is repairing muscle fibres. That's why you should try and get at least 8 hours in a night.Originally Posted by trenhead1
If u havnt had a day off in 2 weeks and your askin if there is a problem then your clearly not training hard enough.... Do 2 weeks of my routines back to back and you would feel like pure death....
When I'm on tren I'd be able to keep up with Arnold for 8 weeks straightOriginally Posted by marcus300

5 days a week max... thats all im able for... you need the rest to build the muscle tissue!!
Ya. I try to stick to 5 days of heavy weights with like 20-30 min on an elliptical at the end. One day cardio only for about 45-1hr. And a rest day. It's tough to rest but you gotta do it
Your mind will always give out before your muscles do. It's in our basic instinct to protect ourselves even from ourselves
Well I kinda see the cardio day as a rest day... I guess it's really not but I'm not hitting weights. I do my legs mid week cardio end. So I got 3days rest on the lower body at a time. Cardio gives the upper body two full days to recover before hitting it again. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I see it
I just try and keep active for cardio like lots off walking etc my cardio days in the gym are over may start mirror boxing at home as a form off cardio
I take a rest day once a month when I'm on cycle. Once every other week when off.
Listen to your body, you'll know when you need to take a day off.
That would be overtraining for me. I need to rest harder than I trainOriginally Posted by Papa-pwn
I'm gonna start taking it more serious on resting I feel I've been overdoing it tbh even though I'm gagging gym
yes you train hard. Harder then you normally do actually...
Once this shit muscle tear heals I'll be easing into a 4 on 3 off protocol with 5 days a week of cardio...maybe more just depends on how I feel.
Rest is essential, your training like a girl if your not feeling worn out. Than again there are prob female members on here that could run rings around you.
Could say tren brings out a feminine side in me does turn me into a drama quen lolOriginally Posted by boz
I don't know if I agree with this statement. I've known some hyper competitive men in my life that push themselves well beyond the threshold of physical limitations and somehow manage to pull through to accomplish amazing things. The vast majority of people are wired as you say. There is something in the back of their minds that tell them to give up and go home while others answer the call despite exhaustion, pain, and even legitimate physical injury. I've seen the men that ring the bell at BUDS and the men that make it through. At the start you have no clue who will and will not survive. But within days you see it. While many have a look of defeat in their eyes others have the look of a caged animal willing to do anything to get out and survive. Those are the guys that keep going with no regard for self preservation.Originally Posted by Brick
