yes i think so. ADF (while technically not alternating days on a "lean bulk" may be a method for maintaining leaner gains. think about it like this:
on high carb days ur trying to create an anabolic environment, on fasting days ur trying to create a fat-burning environment. the only thing left to do to dictate which program ur running is manipulate the amount of each respective day type.
cutting: 1 day high carb, 1 day fasting or 1 day high carb, 2 days fasting repeat
bulking: 2days high carb, 1 day fasting or 3 days high carb, 1 day fasting..
im still going thru the learning process so i can only give u speculative knowledge at this point but i can def tell u the fasting portion makes cutting (and probably maintaining) a LOT easier cuz i get those 3500cal breaks..
