Never take a jab after a hot shower

Been freezing the past few days...

Took a jab after my hot shower yesterday, the needles were ok, but the injection itself... wow!!! straight after i pulled out, it hurts like *#&^&@*#(&$ .... hurts too much for words.

So my guess is... damn right, go with what the experts say, hot shower after and not before~~

Nah, always done it in the cold it's been ok...

but just outta curiosity, thought it would relax my muscles more, hence less painful...

it was Test E, dunno, may have been it... but it killed, hurt alot more than any other jabs i have had...

2 mls of prop didn't hurt as much as this 1 ml of Test E

It was my fifth of it, which makes it even more puzzling...

well... it's Testoviron, same as test e may be a small portion of prop in the mix

it dosnt matter if you inject before a shower or after. i understand the logic of being clean but thats kinda amature. if your injecting correctly then your not going to touch the needle anyway so it dosnt matter. as for the injection spot, an alchol swab right before you poke yourself is the way to go.

heat brings more blood to the are, the reason people message and apply heat after an injection is to help spread around the substance that was injected.

by applying heat before the injection it brings more blood into the area under the skin.

We/I am assuming the injection was in the hip since it is TRT and injections are 1x per week.. if i missed something let me know..

Second that! I think wiggling is the cause for most inj pain. The more you do it and get used to keeping a steady hand the less pain you'll have.

Why do people insist on pinning AFTER their shower? I prefer to do it before, so that any blood that comes out is washed away, and so that I increase blood flow to the area AFTER the depot is in the muscle.

hell yea, if you stick yourself with an 18gauge needle its going to hurt alot more then a 25gauge.

i like it b/c my muscles are nice and warm from the hot water..before or after doesnt really matter..but i feel more sanitary after a shower..you know you come home from the gym and lying on the same benches that a bunch of sweaty people have been using..i would rather wash off all those germs first then take a shot

For me there is no difference between 23 and 25. I just go with 23 always. Now if you want to go 21 or 18 there will be an obvious difference.

I've usually got clothes between my body and the benches, but I understand what you mean. Of course I don't do it after the gym anyway. Morning for me.

use 91%... look at the label, I didnt even realize the difference before i read them.. one will say SPECIFICALLY ... ummm prefered by hospitals. got my alcohol wipes right here. and it reads "Alcohol prep.
Isopropyl Alcohol, 70% v/v sterile. 2 ply medium 1 prep pad."

70% ethanol actually sterilizes by precipitating the intracellular bacterial proteins, wich kills them. 100% ethanol is too strong and doesn't "have the time to enter" into the bacteria, so it only precipitate extracellular protein, and it doesn't kill it.

are your alcohol wipes from a hospital? the reason i ask is because that is where mine came from is all. the 3 hospitals i have worked at all use the 70%. i think it is pretty much the standard. i dont think it really matters but the reason i stated above is the reason 70% is prefered.

I dont use wipes i use cotton balls and the kontainer of alcohol. My brain must associate the smell of that shyt with "getting jabbed" cuz i always get a bit anxious after i take a whiff!
