Thread: stretching before and after work outs

    stretching before and after work outs

    i would like to know the best stretching for before and after work out ....right now i am just doing what i learned when i was a dancer like splits and bends etc... could anybody help...

    no real point in stretching "before" a workout, especially if you just show up to the gym and start stretching. i prefer more of an active warmup specific to the muscle groups i'm working that day, and then stretch afterwards.
