AAS is not the end all magic bean here as a lot of newcomers to AAS thinks. ITs all about diet and how you utilize your diet to achieve muscle mass. Eating good on cycle you will gain a bit but then coming off and not maintaning that diet you will loose what you gain. You have to keep increasing your calories as your body grows or you will never maintain the new growth. ITs common knowledge.
