Good thing I'm paying for someone else's lazy ass.
Good thing I'm paying for someone else's lazy ass.
not all of us get a chance of having a good education or a good paying job. when i was a kid, my mom was a single parent who worked full time and went to community college at night. we were on government assistance until she finished school. of course there will always be people who abuse things but to call all people on welfare lazy or any other names is just ignorant.
I don't want to be insensitive, but don't you think there was a lapse in responsibility in becoming a single mother? I realize that your particular situation may be different (dad bailed, died, etc) but how many people are banging and running these days?
Wrap it up, B!
im sure you never made any mistakes in your life. and not sound insensitive? it sounds to me like your saying i was a mistake.
my dad was a drug addicted loser and ended up in prison. i never knew him and i think my mom made the right choice by never having anything to do with him after the fact. without the support of our government, i doubt she would have been able to do what she did. now she is a registered nurse and deals in real estate on the side.
Haus, you don't have to explain your shitz to anyone.... good job to your mom.... and if someone wants to hate on situations it is because they don't know anything else except to sit back and analyze it with hypothesis... I am not a child raised from the welfare system...but, my sister had to use it for a period of time when her boy was real sick from birth and dad was out of picture... she was able to get situated and now is finishing a double major on masters degree and a good citizen of society that recieved a helping hand when needed.
