    Here is the article I was talking about.


    "Last week the journal Ophthalmology published the findings of the two-year research, which found injecting the eye with steroids doubles the chance of improving vision and halves the risk of it getting worse in patients who have diabetic macular oedema, the most common cause of vision loss in people with diabetes.

    When a person has diabetic macular oedema, the blood vessels in their eyes deteriorate and leak, causing the retina to swell - which leads to blurred vision and an inability to focus. If left untreated it can ultimately lead to blindness."

    I don't think so.Apparently drugs like prednisone, inhaled steroids and even some otc cold meds can elevate optic pressure.There is a drainage system in your eye with fluid.High pressure from what I undersand is when the fluid does'nt drain freely and can damage the optic nerve.kinda scary stuff cause there usually are no symptoms with glaucoma.Just a good idea to have your eyes checked and remain healthy along with every thing else.I just take drops while I'm on and a few months after
