Yes your hair become dependent on the active ingredient minoxidil. When you stop using it the dependent hair starts to fade away. Long term fix is 1)Use rogaine for a very long time untill you hit an age you just dont care. 2) Hair transplant or 3)Use preventive measures to combat hairloss.
