It kinda depends on who you talk to. I think it is far better than drinking regular soda and in reality if it keeps your diet on track then maybe its ok. Some believe that some of the sugar alternatives are bad for you such as aspartame, I think that some of the purported side effects really dont stand up to scientific rigor. I think like most things diet soda in moderation is probably not going to hurt your diet to much.
