Thread: am i overtraining?

    there is no way for us to know if you are overtraining. so many variables involved. one is type of exercises involved, more isolation and bodybuildling type training can yield higher workout frequency than more what i do of strength and power training...

    but as a guideline, most people shouldnt be training with weights more than 3 days per week. easiest thing to know is just start cutting back or stacking on more and see how the body reacts. and taking a week or so off every couple months is essential no matter what style of training you do IMO.

    3 days max? id say 4-5 max 3 minimum for somebody who wants to train with resistance weights.

    thanks for advise
    if you train only 3-5 days or if you train over a 4 day split isn`t there to long of a gap between body parts
    i thought there wasn`t meant to be more than 4 to 5 days between body parts
    just a thought
