milk thistle is overrated, any herbs are going to have very low bioavailability if taken orally. i cant see it hurting gains or helping the liver much either
I disagree with that.
A while back leading into a PL comp my liver values jumped sky high, to the point where I was having to go for ultrasounds. Being 6 weeks out I didnt want to get off so I started loading up on the milk thistle and Fish Oils (was already taking them, just uped the dose). Week of the comp I had bloods done again and they were still high, but nearly a third less then they previously were. Nothing else was changed in my diet and I actually ADDED halo that week.
Now days I dont run orals except for the week of my comps but like The Deuce I still run milk thistle year round. I do use Tren quite often and that seems to inderectly raise liver toxicity levels so I believe it helps keep that to a minimum.
I also take it and I am not on any GEAR .. but I do take all this over counter stuff...
Muliti vitamin, creatin , lots o protein , b complex , zma stack, andro , some trib, motrin when i need it , efa caps , and some glutamine..
takin a bunch of pils a day , it can only help process it all
175mgs 5 times per day... 1 Pill with every meal... I eat 7 times a day technically.. 2 of the 7 times though are protein shakes and I don't take the MilkThis with them.. only when I ingest real food ya know?? so it equals out to 875mgs ED.
I wouldn't say overrated.. because well it isn't something that EVERYONE swears by, but I know from BLOOD TESTS... that it does in FACT help out with the regeneration of LIVER CELLS. A must for any AAS user that uses heavy orals (PH too) like Drol, Dbol, Winstrol, and Halo.
Is it something that I advocate that everyone take all the time everyday and if you dont your liver will shut down?? No.. but I will say this... IT'S VERY VERY CHEAP.. and what it does do... is worth the $7 dollar price tag.
Wow see thats awesome.. it's good to hear that it helped you out.![]()
