But in all seriousness, everyone has different goals and for me this type of training would not benefit what I would like to do
Exactly. I know it would kill me just as loading up the squat rack with 4 plates a side would kill most of these guys. I became anti crossfit when the guy who runs the one in my area told my wife "doing crossfit will get your body back to how its supposed to look". Now I know I am biased but my wife has a kick ass body and has won more Figure shows than I can count. Not all of us are fans of the Olson Twins look with a bit more muscle.

Yeah they seem to have been criticized with a cult like mentality around the block

Took a crossfit trainer the other day to do squats in which i use to train this guy and he tried to critique my form when his was much worse. Telling me to lock my knees out when as a bodybuilder thats exactly what we're not suppose to do and having the bar not on my traps but lift my shoulders up more so its on my rear delts for some reason he explained that I just quit listening too.

I then started critiquing his form. With placing the bar like that it was causing his lower back to move forward and not staying straight which may one day blow his back out, his knees were going past his feet and wobbling which is a sign he is about to blow out his knees, then listed the reason of why I don't lock out my knees and to read how a ton of trainers will restart the set count if you do so as this relieves tension off the quad muscle and this isn't what we want.

Needless to say he shut it real fast, did what I said for the remaining, and he quit on the 1st set of hamstrings after quads, adductors, abductors, (mind you at current I'm training everything twice a week so I don't do as many exercises or sets), and having to go walk while I finished hams and glutes since we drove together.

He called me today wanting to go to my back to my program as thats when he saw the best results and his legs still are in agony 5 days later
