I hope this turns into some sceanrio where radiation turns 98% of the population into zombies, where the remaining 2% (of which im a part of) drive around in armoured cars, shooting zombies and trying to survive.

There are no historical proof of that!
Again, why writing something which was not proven? Spanish did not even reach the Mayans locations which remained hidden for several centuries!
