    Squats on PCT

Gonna be starting PCT in a week. Was wondering if anyone has tried squatting twice/week to kickstart natural test? I was thinking about:

Wednesday - Normal Leg workout: Squats, Leg Press, Leg Ext.
    Sunday - Squats only

I'm thinking this will lead to overtraining and I will most likely not do it but I wanted some opinions before I rule it out.

Does anyone think the benefits of Squats in terms of Test production outweigh the drawbacks of overtraining. Thanks.

It's one week after my last inject and I'm already losing motivation Didn't expect it. Once I get to the gym I'm OK but getting my ass out of bed is getting hard.

Don't think of it as 1 week off , but 11 weeks preparation time for next cycle .
I know it sounds corny .

the key word is think... the mind makes the body follow.... that sounds corny but it works.... make your mind think its go time and the body will follow.. or just stay in bed and say fuk it for 12 weeks... thats easier

I read that full body workouts increase test levels the best

im not on right now but train legs twice every 8 days and have been making good gains. found that my diet and rest have to be perfect though, or else i dont recover in time. cant speak for its impact on natural test recovery though.

IMO being on PCT id personaly opt for training legs just once a week since ur recovery abilities wont be that fantastic

training them twice a week while ur trying to recover may cause u to loose more muscle,

also thought squats along woith other big compound lifts stimulate test production after exercise, their is also a correlation that 1-2 days following exercise their is a sharp decline in test levels and LH, and a greater increase in cortisol levels depending on the level of training volume

however higher calorie diets and bigger rest periods have been shown to help prevent higher cortisol levels following exercise

IMO ur better off with squats once a week, though u may be able to stimulate more testerone production, your also going to be putting ur muscles into a greater catabolic state, and increase cortisol levels while your body is trying to regain its natural testerone production

Depends on how your training, I squat every workout and have seen good gains each week (15lbs). Im on a strength training routine, and squats are helping not only my over all body strength, but my cardio as well. Go to www.stronglifts.com and read the lifting routine and see what you think... Good luck

This is what my intuition is telling me. I think I will stay at one/week.

I believe heavy squatting sparks test, so one light day wouldn't really do anything. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea, 15 strength pounds. It's a strength program, which increases body mass. My goals are to put on as much strength mass for a good base, then worry about cutting once I get the thickness Im looking for.. check out the site above and you can see what Im doing.

Just remember that too much of anything is a bad thing and causes more harm than good.
