You can certainly still cycle with 17% bf, but don't expect the AAS to do most of the work.

If you've hit a wall at 17% bf, I'd re-evaluate something: diet, training, cardio schedule, etc.

I think you can still cut PLENTY where you are at naturally.

What type of cycle were you thinking of running.

Hello!!! reality check. What fvckn wall. He has been working hard for 3 months? Try another 6 months and check back. WTF did it only take you 3 months to gain the weight? How long did it take you to get your BF up above where it should be. It will take a while to get it down and 3 months is nothing. Actually 3 months is only when it just barely starts to make a difference.

Stop looking for instant gratification. If this is really how you think then I can guarantee you wont be around here in another year unless you are asking questions about why you are still experiencing problems from your cycle.

I could go on and on but it's just stupid for people to complain or say they hit a wall after 3 fvckn months... I change up my routine about ever 3 months, 3 months is NOTHING .

lovbyts - re-read MY post. I was not complaining about it. I was simply asking a "what if" question. I have been working out for years. It is my diet that gets away from me and my body fat runs up. When I said I have been working like mad for 3 months I only meant that I have been strick on intake and done extra cardio (burning about 600-800 /day) My results have been great, I'm sure you would agree, but I have gotten to a point where it has stopped coming off. I know how to adjust to fix it... but that wasnt the question... I was asking about what I don't know and that is a cycle.. what would happen if I did it now.

To be more clear... I am not looking at a normal cycle.. I am on for life (almost no nat test) so I am talking about a blast cycle.

    Thanks

You already got an answer, it just wasn't the one you were hoping for.

What's your diet like now, and what's your cardio schedule?

D7M is right, too many people here tell us how their diet is spot on then when they post it, it clearly shows that their diet sucked

    check your TDEE

you might not be getting enuff calories. Now that your working out and exercising your body needs more calories per day. You might have to up your calories another 500-800 a day just to lose weight. I have had this problem myself. I had to add another.800-1000 cal a day and then I started losing weight again. You need calories to burn them.

D7M your right Bro. sorry about that. I got so distracted by the one response that flammed me that I totally overlooked your (and the other) response.

I'm just not sure what to do. I know i have to work for the results and I am doing that and I am doing for the long haul. I have made a life change, this is not just a little stint back on the workout wagon. I want to hit some goals that I have had for years and nothing is going to stop me from hitting them! So I really don't want to F this up.
Bottom line - Will blasting a cycle now hurt me or help me in the long run?

    Stats:
    36yrs
    170 lbs
    BF about 17 right now.
Total workout time - 9-10 yrs with 2 yrs off. restarted half a yr ago.
on test for life because of no nat test.
Diet - Not real bad but I will never claim it is great. It could improve a lot.
    daily:
    calories - 2100-2300
    carbs - 250g-300g
    fat - 30g-50g
    protien -150g-250g
and I make sure I cover all the food groups for a good balance.
I keep track of every single thing I take in every single day. If you want you can see it here: http://dailyburn.com/nutrition?user=346241

Rana - My cardio schedule is 1 hr every day. NEVER skip it.

just2big - Yeah I went through that... but I'm past it now and I dont THINK its the problem right now.

Smiler - I love your answer i can't lie! lol.. Just don't know if I am gonna do it or not though.. I need to see some more opinions and advise from guys who have been here.

i know a few here will disagree with me but hell yes i would. 1st i would take the advice you got about your diet of course but i also would do what your calling a "blast" or call it a cycle whatever but yep i sure would. i would prolly change up my lifting routine too. less heavy days. work your ass off literally. if your doing the 6 to 10 sets blah blah blah maybe change it up and do your 20s. and...blast away! just my 2 cents bro but im sure imma hear it
