I would like to say, as a random member of this website that I have observed the following...
There are two groups- Dudes who know what they're talking about because they know this stuff, and the dudes who could quickly be identified as 'that guy' at the gym.

The guys who have 5,000+ post spend enough time at a website called 'steroid.com' that it's safe to assume that they have a real interest in the world of aas and bodybuilding.

The real avatars are pretty easy to distinguise. Example being, 'Marcus' is a big dude who spends some serious time in the gym (with links and all that promo banner stuff). You can tell it's a real pic with the face omitted by paintshop. There are many other avatars that might be displayed to intimidate, fantasize, second-guess, represent an allegory, or provide some inner meaning that can only be understood with time on this forum. Example, DSM- he likes guys and the car, got it. No disrespect DSM, ur a very interesting and intelligent guy.

I have been reading lots of post from guys giving out advice like their doctors or experienced professionals, and they sound like assholes. That shit is dangerous and looks stupid too. If u really want to verify the knowledge of a member, u can look up all of his threads and posts and get an idea of how well he knows his shit. Example, Swifto must be a biochemist doctor who creates new formulas to counteract outdated formulas for fun.

I thought this was an opportune thread to speak out on some of the interesting personalities and pictures on this site. There are some real smart people sharing information that really helps, and then there are the others. Regardless, the avatars represent whatever a member who spends enough time here wants to convey. I think most can agree that appearance is always an important factor on perspective, but dig a little and you can usually find out what's behind the picture.

I agree that they may have an interest in AAS (because most anyone on here does) but i having 5000+ posts means nothing. Some guys have 20000 and still have no clue when it comes to AAS because they are here for the fun too.

Now to the avatar. Mine is not me. I am an FSU fan and Nigel Bradham is a beast so i put him as my avatar. I would love his genetics but i would never claim that was me. I would hope that guys would realize it by the name and the pic
