    Any movement that you do properly will not result to injury.

    This includes, proper form and weight and prevention of over training.

    agreed....

    I used upright rows when my shoulder was in pain because that's the only movement that I could do with it.

    For upright rows, I think rookies may have a little more trouble with wrists than shoulders
    I like mine with a shoulder width grip and I nice trap squeeze.
