I've read that shelf life is normally around 6 to 12 months depending on manufacturers obviously... I wouldn't jab it personally!!

and were did you read that? 6-12 months shelf life? nope your wrong ,as its in amps am assumeing its human grade ,4 years shelf life on hg gear ,your around a year past exp date ,i have seen people use gear 2-3 years past exp ,with it being human grade i would say its good to go but thats just me ..
