Actually I would say that your post ^^ is less patriotic than songdogs post, and the point is that so many complain about stuff while nearly everyone of them don't realize the greatness of this country and how the rest of the world daily lives are. If we are so horrible why do people flood across the border into our country? Why is the USA the biggest bad a** in NATO and the UN? Why are we the biggest best force out there? Seems as if we have gotten away from our work hard roots.
This is a isolated incident where yes it was bad but don't start assuming the whole country is this way. And if it really bothers you that much you would deny your citizenship (by being ashamed of being American) on a isolated incident then you have lost sight of the whole picture.
The only reason you say this is because of a foreign countries article on some bad cops in the USA. Don't lump that into the whole category of being American.

Sure. But I've been to just about every part of the world and seen it first hand.

Because our country is better than their country. Why do people order the Big Mac instead of the Big n Tasty? Well, because the Big n Tasty is ****ing disgusting. Just because it's better doesn't mean it's always good.

Ummmm... because we've run up a 14 trillion dollar deficit, spending a huge amount of money on defense. We have the biggest stick.

I may not and dont like everything.But go to some of these other countries.Middle east Korea N or S. It's the people who are not satisfied with the status quo that make the sacrifices and push for a change for the better. So in this instance your attitude is fueling the complacency of the masses. Go look at any of the uprising countries; the ones protesting are the ones who matter.

You don't leave a country if you disagree with a few things; you vote to change the way things are done.

how did i say anything about being stisified with the status quo? my point was to not take this isolated incident and judge the whole country on it.

These 6 cvnts have been on a force of how many for how long? If a cop on a metropolitan police force is not involved in abuses, then they know of and protect others who are. Enough excuses. There are next to no "good" cops out there IMO, mostly just bad ones and complacent ones.

There are plenty of good ones out there..... just not these guys. I'm going to the city council meeting tomorrow and voicing my opinion. I'll let you guys know how it goes....... what a bunch of bullshit.

LMAO!! I hope you are joking. You're probably the guy that says shit along the lines of "They are over there 'fighting for our freedom' (which isn't really true, YOU guys are invading OTHER PEOPLE'S freedom), what are you doing?!"

I don't mean to offend anybody, but people who STILL support the military and it's agenda, after EVERYTHING that went down and has been exposed....I almost feel bad for them. Patriotism like it was encouraged by your 'forefathers', and the way they viewed it is dead. It's all business now. Our country is not in danger by any country that wipes their ass with their hand. There is no danger and most join the army because they can't do school and don't have other options. The pay is decent and you can retire early in comparison. Not a bad deal at all.

Agreed, most don't join to actually fight for the Country and protect the American citizens they join for the thrill and excitement.
And its not like they don't get rewarded for it either, its just like any other job, just has alot more perks.
