    In college my buddy, big guy, used to smoke a j before working out.. He would swear it would help him focus better and help him push through the pain.. never understood it, if I did that the only work out I would get is lifting the remote and curling chips... but whatever works for ya I guess..

    I DO NOT SUPPORT ILLICIT DRUG USE IN ANYWAY

    however, I have experienced many in fitness doing marihuana before liftin, hitting the bag, martial arts in general, swimming, long distance running, ...not so much short distance sprints...

    users report an enhanced mind - muscle connection while lifting accompanied with a small decrease in strength while also taking advantage of the purported anti inflammatory and pain relieving as well as the increase of ability to eat larger amounts of food...kinda like GHRP 6 eating haha

    I guy in my gym sips wine as he lifts and claims it helps alot... I dont buy it and i would never want to lift and drink at the same time that would be catabolic to me... But i do like to take a bong rip before a hard training session (this is legal for me, as i live in california) once i do that and start sipping my pre workout as soon as my music starts I get amped and concentrated on what im doing big time. I know to some it sounds perposterus but for me and MANY MANY other lifters i know expereicnce the same thing. It also helps with gettin me hunger PWO where normally exersice curbs my appittie.

    Ya for some it works great for others not at all. To each his own and whatever helps you helps you. Seems like a joint before workout would be better the alcohol tho. Talk about gym rage lol
