Until you reach your mid twenties when your hormonal system is fully developed/mature, taking steroids now will increase the risk of problems down the road, as compared to the risk you'd be taking if you wait a few years when in your mid twenties. True, there will still be a risk of cycling after your mid twenties, but not as great compared to now.
You can minimize risk by implementing a robust PCT, and an AI during cycle. But even then, you will still be exposed to risk.

Do you know what these risks are? How about ED (erictile disfunction), like trying to make love to your woman, and all you've got to offer is a limp noodle?? or how about low libido? this is where your woman wants to make love to you, and you are more interested in watching NASCAR. Or how about depression? there are a variety of sides you would be putting yourself at risk of getting.
Not trying to scare you.
But if your excuse to using aas is you want to be in a strong man contest, I'd think before considering, you'd have numbers that wouuld suggest you'd even have a remote chance of being competitive. But right now, you're just a big boy with only 8 months in the gym with very average numbers.
