Why do you want to take steroids, do you want to be a cheat. Steroids will give you a unfair advantage over your opponent, it's like say you have a weapon, say a baseball bat and your opponent only has his fists. You don't need me to tell you it wrong!

    from pacquiao's trainer

And yes, Ariza did put Pacquiao through some resistance training - which is still considered taboo in many boxing circles.

"I do use weights, but in the sense that they're not for cosmetic reasons," says Ariza, who stays away from compound lifts such as the bench press and military press. He believes in high reps with movements that will benefit a boxer inside the ring. "They're more to develop a quicker, faster response, a faster twitch-muscle fiber. They're designed to target those things like that. So the idea behind using light weight is also for flexibility and to develop a faster reflex."

Yeah some do, not many boxers use weights in there regime. They more things like natural resistance training like running up hills to build weight and strength in there legs, because the legs is where a boxer's punching power comes from. A boxer does'nt need alot of upper body muscle, it slows you down and ****s with your balance.
Heavyweights May use weight, by the looks of klitschko he looks like he hits weights lol

Gave us some exciting fights gatti may he RIP

Don't tell me about ward I ain't seen it yet, im England so it was on late 3am over here, gonna catch the replay later.

Got some skills ward ain't he!

Another thing about weights is fighters have to make weight, so weights don't help, natural resistance training like press ups BP,s stuff like that is all a boxer needs imo.

Like Joe calzaghe, he never touched a weight in his life, but I move on my position and say some may do weights on there legs, maybe shoulders.

What makes Floyd best pound for pound the best are his skills, as he says skills pay the bills lol you see hI'm on 24/7 for the cotton fight he was eating fried chicken every few hour, don't think Floyd uses weight mate.

so he must magically add upper body lbm over the years and through divisions

must ask him how because even my magic beans wont do that

he eating fried chicken big deal he had his weight handled so could eat what he liked

and tv is tv remember, he potrays what he wants people to see

also he needs twice the cals you do at parts of training so again fried chicken is no big deal and may of been fitted into.macros as 6k clean cals aint fun

not to mention he was stepping up so no worries about dropping fat
