Dan I feel like you're talking about integrity and Spike is talking about class in the slang version of class the informal use of class. If we go to the dictionary definition Dan you are actually right but if we go to the slang version Spike is referencing its a totally different thing.
I live in a wealthy area. Some of the people in my neighborhood are multimillionaires and this is their 2nd or 3rd etc home in Florida. A few miles down the road is a Walmart with several trailer parks across the street that I sometimes visit because they are still open after midnight. Im sure some of the people frequenting it are hardworking Americans with a lot of integrity. I was in there tonight. I did not see anything resembling the urban dictionary (slang) defintion of class:
"class 328 up, 61 down
A person who is poised, graceful, mature, or exudes any of these qualities in dress, mannerism, language, and everyday life. Possesses excellent self-control, is gentle, soothing, and unoffensive.
Also used to refer to people or styles from the past; when copied, general impression of others upon seeing them is "classy", a reference to all things classic or that have class.
1. She was the epitome of class in the way she carried and presented herself.
2. They all agreed that the man who paid unwavering attention to his escort and stayed by her side all night had an unprecedented amount of class. "
3. Audrey Hepburn."
Not trying to disagree with anyone just feel like apples and oranges are being talked about.
