Under 30 will require that the individual admits to prior anabolic steroid use and a desire to be done with that. If no prior steroid use, there would need to be documented medical proof of a physical condition that could have lead to low levels. If no proof is available, the doctor will also take into account opiate abuse and anti-depressant use. However, in many young guy cases, if there is no reason for the man to have low levels, the doctor will require a MRI on the individual's pituitary. If that has already been done and you have records to show its been done, that is taken into consideration.
All of these things such as drug abuse, injury and illness should always be made aware of if you're going to get the care you need, but under 30 there is a lot more scrutiny.
