Did you switch docs Tripper? If your E2 sensitive is 22 you're in great shape and do not need an AI whatsoever. Most of the top guys in the industry like Crisler, Vergel, LEF Foundation, etc., recommend between 20 - 30 on a sensitive assay. Also know that standard estradiol is geared toward women and tends to read higher for men, thus resulting in the unnecessary use of aromatase inhibitors. Again, the top docs will tell you this. Google LEF and Estrogen and you'll find some good articles. 1 mg x 3 per week would crash your E2 in no time. Educate her.

This is the same doc. You know him. He told his nurse to start me on an ai based on my estradiol number. Not my e2. I said don't you mean my e2 and she said no. I haven't taken anything yet but I thought that this recommendation sounded fishy.the old nurse has left the practice and this is his new one. . I was right to question this recommendation wasn't i?

That's right. Even though the hCG raises mine and I take an AI, I've missed the AI and felt no difference.

I've tested at 200 on a Sensitive Assay 3-70 scale and felt no difference.

    kelkel,

Although LEF does indeed recommend E2 be kept between 20 and 30, unless I missed something, LEF does not recommend the sensitive assay (except in special cases).

Correct. But they are changing. Crisler's been beating them down about it. It's been a money thing as standard estradiol costs about $20 bucks I believe and the Sensitive Assay is a little over $200. Ridiculous difference. Always about money, even with the associations allegedly out there to help.
