When you split up your posterior chain(low back glutes & hams) and quads on a different day - I do them on posterior chain day and we'll also split them between back and quad day doing conventional deficit deads on posterior chain day and sumo the following etc - but before this routine I'd do them on back day and finish with them(now I'm training a little different) and size and strength & thickness all went up -- I also do lots of good mornings so I feel my low back is strong but still gets torched since splitting my legs up(low back glutes hams then quads) made much better gains
Stiff legged w/DBs on stand for further ROM ^ as said above hammers your hams & glutes(heavy will put that lower back in some nice pain too)
