I am not sure if this is the right section, but if a mod sees this I would appreciate it if you could just move this to the appropriate section rather than deleting the thread. If this is the correct section, then good. Anyway...
A little back story, I play a relatively new and sort of underground sport called freestyle soccer/football (whatever you wanna call it in your country.) To grossly oversimplify it, is basically doing tricks with a ball. Since the sport is somewhat new the limits are constantly being pushed. Right now people are pondering whether or not a 4 revolution trick is possible. A 4 revolution trick is kicking the ball and going around it with your leg 4 times. Here is an example of someone attempting it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX2hRD9glkc. No one has ever come that close to landing it before, and this guy hasn't had any close attempts for over half a year now. It looks like he can do it if he just attempts it more, but that last 1% of the trick is 90% of the work. If any of you were wondering, that isn't me in the video that I linked by the way.
Now on to my question. I don't know if I ever would take drugs to help me land this trick, but it is something that I am thinking about. I can make about 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 revolutions around the ball, I feel as if one day I will be close to landing it. Keep in mind that no one in the world has ever landed it before, it is a HUGE deal. Would steroids help? I know pretty much nothing about steroids except the fact that it makes you stronger. I definitely would not get into it as uninformed as I am, but it is something I would like to know about. Maybe if I were to train for a year or two more and get as close as the guy in the video I linked I would use steroids for the extra push to land the trick, or maybe use steroids while I am training to improve faster and eventually land it? Or would steroids not help at all? I know it helps with cycling so it would make sense, but I want to hear from people with experience with it.
