I wasn't going to say anything, but we all need a good laugh.........I lose my job on my birthday next month!

No worries though. Several things lined up and will be treated decently.

Oh I was coming back to the site Oct 24 to win the comp. don’t worry about that.

Honestly that burst reminded me of when I first joined. So many people posting in a thread you couldn’t keep up if you went to the bathroom.

Yes sir. 2 actual offers that I'm comparing benefits on. One is fairly local, the other is the far side of Greenville County. Still have 2 on site interviews in the next few weeks.
Covered by severance and insurance for quite a while, so I'm trying to play my start date at the new job so I get a few weeks of "AG" time.....and yes sir, my range bag is already packed.

You can do it. Like anything else you just plan it out. I was always taught by the old farts (God bless them) that the first thing you do is make a damn good sketch that is fully dimensioned. Next, cut your material. After that, remove everything you don't want.

    Since you asked...
Started a new diet plan today. Reintroducing carbs. Felt really good, lots of energy for my workout. That said, I'm still a bit nervous about getting back to carbs. Before I lost a lot of weight I was very sensitive to carbs. I'd have huge blood sugar fluctuations (even in the context of complex carbs as part of a clean diet). I understand at a lower bodyfat percentage this might not be an issue. Fingers crossed!

Your insulin sensitivity may have improved. My dad managed to go from insulin dependent to only using metformin occasionally through proper diet and training, lots of training sometimes 3 hour bike sessions.

What carb sources are you going to have?

Today I had 1/2c oatmeal with my egg whites at breakfast, 6oz sweet potato with my chicken at meal #3, 7oz cherries (for 30g carb) pre-workout, and 2 cups of veggies split up at meals throughout the day

If you're sensitive to carbs just reintroduce them slowly and adjust daily to how you feel especially with bloating.

Sounds good. The past year I have been using beans/legumes and ground flaxseeds. They are excellent for glycemic control, try them but slowly or else the high fiber content will give you some surprises lol. Sweet potatoes are good too esp since orange = vitamin A. My fav beans/legumes are chickpeas, lentils and kidney beans.

    Some interesting reads:

Can't beat their macro and micro nutrient profiles and the added benefits. Cheap as hell too.

I agree with cousin...very likely you’ve basically done a reset and your body will respond better to them! Your coach is starting you slow too so that will give you time to see how you respond!

Hiya Cape. Just trying to get the work done today that I didn't get done all week. Hows your Friday going?

I posted a progress photo just before the conversation got a little sideways... My first thought on seeing all the activity after my post was "Hell yeah! I'm killing these guys!"... but then I realized... uh, no. Had nothing to do with me, LoL.

Diet-wise: Still hitting about 2400 cals, at about 100g carbs per day. Down about 10 pounds, lazy cardio 3 mornings/wk. I've been the same weight much of this week, so likely I'll make a small calorie cut next week (*see below). I'm still having a carb-ladden cheat meal on Saturday nights...usually pizza and maybe dessert. That will go soon I imagine.

Starting my cycle in another week (weekly: mast400/test300 - - My timing is a little off for this competition, by life will go on after 10/24)

In for back tonight. I LOVE working out on Friday nights because I usually have the whole gym to myself.

Rant about using weight to determine progress, feel free to skip:
I have no ability whatsoever to use my progress photos as a means to figure out how I'm progressing. I understand the pitfalls of only using my weight to plan what to do next, but honestly deciphering a pound or two from my pictures is beyond my capability. I suspect if I were leaner, it would be much easier. I'm a little chubby so trying to decide if it's lean muscle addition, or fat loss, or lean muscle loss, it's not always clear and sometimes I don't know what to do. Should I cut calories, increase cardio, etc...etc...etc. This is where a coach could probably help me.

It's why love reading things like PBDC below:

I'm like,"Hell yeah, it's confusing as fvck PB. I know exactly how you feel". The weights are easy to figure out, the gear is relatively easy to figure out if you read a bit… but the freaking diet… WTF?

There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
    When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am
    I have become comfortably numb

From personal experiences, from people I have followed with IRL and helped lose fat, and from many vets here too, some general guidelines for fat loss:
It is better to increase cardio than cut food
Cutting for too long doesn't work so well, you're better doing it a couple weeks at a time

You aren't too late for a cycle. I start mine next week too but its short esters so it's meant to be 8 weeks anyway. Looking good btw your skin is much thinner.
