Btw... It takes a sick bastard to put plasic grips on an exquisite color case hardened $2000 single action. Makes me angry

I had an original Colt Bisley from the early 1900s. it had the same plastic looking grips, but I don't think they were actually plastic they were original. I sold the gun for $3k and it was far from mint condition (pic of it below is just an example). it was on the mantle with my John Wayne limited edition Colt SA 45 (I still have this one with the bone grips shown below)




they are fun to shoot, 45 colt is low recoil actually , but does push a pretty hefty bullet

My favorite frame period. I used to quick draw before I fuck my hand with arthritis. Its the only gun that points naturally to me.
A glock makrs me sick at the feel of it. Just doesnt fit my big ass hand.

I used to have a callous on my middle finger from the trigger guard of single actions.

Need walnut with just a slight bit of deep checkering so you know eactly how it lays in your hand.

Miss doing that shit.
If I tried drawing now I would probably throw the damn gun at what I was drawing on. Can't hold ont anything intricately and precise.
