I don’t really subscribe to having a shit ton of guns as much as I subscribe to being extremely proficient to what I have. I have custom built AR, for medium range and hunting purposes and property self defense. Much like an M4 with some reach out with additional optics. It’s a great in home defense standoff weapon or country gun.

Then i have and EDC shield 2.0 in 9mm that I swithed from an XDS 3.3 45 due to lack of round capacity and general lack of mass and accuracy.

I have a SBR truck gun i have a secondary complete upper to turn it into an AR pistol on the fly should the situation arise. Same with my main AR, it’s standered upper is a 16’’ barrel but can quickly switch to a full 20 inch barrel if needed. My SBR will eventually have an integrated suppressed once my tax stamp comes in.

I have several shot guns for different upland bird hunting such as quail and pheasant.

Lastly I’m building a custom .308 for hunting big game. May do a full AR 10 setup to use different calibers in that set up. However my favorite gun ever was my sig saur 716 piston driven AR. That damn gun was fun as shit to shot and absolutely thumped. I want another one one day...

How often do you shoot now?

Shooting is a perishable skill. The more you shoot the better you shoot. I got up to shooting 1000 rounds through my pistol a week.
I shot extreamly well during that time. I don’t have the time or money now. So I don’t shoot as well. Better than average though. Lol

My most prized possession, a knife my dad left me. It's a puma jagd-nicker he bought in Germany in 1964, while serving in the air force. All my life I've drooled over that knife...lol

He left me me a bunch of knifes, but i haven't touched them yet, too emotional. They still sitting in his gun cabinet he left me, still in his house.

I agree 100%. Same goes for shooting pool, trap, basketball, strength training, throwing freaking rocks, drinking, racing, operating heavy equipment or shooting a bow. Use it or lose it to a degree.

There are always those however...that can pick something up and just run it like it's second nature, BUT a good percentage of those people have had many hours of training in the past.

Actually, I was just checking the last place I saw a white hunter for sale... I know that some of the newer ones were made with lower quality steel, thought I'd check to see if there was a vintage one for sale. They also made a smaller one that was called the Hunters Pal....might be a good gift for my son.

I had totally forgotten about them:
    Thanks guys!

    I too had one.

I forget the lineage or story behind the reason why they were hk.

    Ok found it

Hk imorted benelli. Once Beretta bought Benelli, Benelli dropped hk as importer

Ozzy man is a riot. I had not seen that one, thanks Cape.

I have seen the vid of Mr. Reeves training 3 gun before. I absolutely love that he has that level of dedication to a role he wants to portray. Definitely has been working at it.
Of course .....I can also watch videos of Jerry Miculek or his daughter shoot all day long. so maybe I just love gun porn.

    Always wanted one of these

I would also like an original CSAA

Btw... It takes a sick bastard to put plasic grips on an exquisite color case hardened $2000 single action. Makes me angry

I had an original Colt Bisley from the early 1900s. it had the same plastic looking grips, but I don't think they were actually plastic they were original. I sold the gun for $3k and it was far from mint condition (pic of it below is just an example). it was on the mantle with my John Wayne limited edition Colt SA 45 (I still have this one with the bone grips shown below)

My favorite frame period. I used to quick draw before I fuck my hand with arthritis. Its the only gun that points naturally to me.
A glock makrs me sick at the feel of it. Just doesnt fit my big ass hand.

I used to have a callous on my middle finger from the trigger guard of single actions.

I like your superhawk and the black powder

If I tried drawing now I would probably throw the damn gun at what I was drawing on. Can't hold ont anything intricately and precise.
