So I found out recently that I’m the golden era there was no such thing as pct!
As all my knowledge basically comes from these stickies and YouTube videos It didn’t compute lol. I understood that pct was compulsory to get back or at least as close back to what you was before..

If there was no pct and aperently they ate “dbol like candy” am I to believe that Arnie looking how he did was in Cali and never got laid. Or at least never got laid without useing viagra?
Does viagra work always?

Also if all the steroids available now was available then do you thing they would stick to their tren/primo/dbol/var?
Like have steroids got safer since then or worse? I know I hear tren is master??

I’m thinking to stick to the type of cycles they ran in the golden era, as a lot of them are still here with us, they have their hair they have children and aperently their health.. I’m talking the likes of arnie/Yates/rick/Lou even the likes of sylvester lol

Oh I'm definitely a Franco fan, mostly because he was a source of inspiration (being as he is a short guy like myself). I even bought one of his first books (Winning Bodybuilding, I think) a LONG time ago. He and Ed Coan are definite faves of mine (Coan being another member of the 5'7" and under club).

That said, 1981 wasn't Franco's best year. I was stream of consciousness'ing youtube the other day and saw a video on the '81 Olympia. Despite that fact that I do admire Franco, there were others on stage that year that deserved the win. Just one dude's opinion and no harsh intended (well, except maybe to Franco's condition that year )

They don't release their recipes and tell the full truth .
We just know and assume they use gear... That's pretty much it.

So don't assume they come off and then go back on. Most pros never come off.

Not to sound all Hallmarky, but its less about the gear, and more about the focus. The shear force of will. Arnold, Franco, Phil, Jay... Henry Ford, Edison, Churchill....They had an intensity and a drive that normal people *think* they can understand, but they can't. Sure, physiology, food, gear all help. PCT, or not... On cycle, or off... All secondary to force of will and determination, IMHO.

Of course they didn't PCT because they probably never came off.
Plus, most of these guys got to the point where they had enough money to have doctors working for them to watch their health and help them when they wanted to have kids etc.
They may have not had access to all the info we have now, but they surely had gurus that were assisting them.

I've been a fan of his since 2007. I definitely believe him, but I always put that there because a lot of people don't know who he is and would assume what he's saying is a lie - just like his "synthol" arms, which was just a hematoma from his kid hitting him with a bat, as you know. I follow him on Youtube. Joe Pietaro is kind of a scummy dude imo, but if Gregg is close to him, he can't be that bad.

To be fair, Arnold would probably be dead if he was a regular pedestrian. I think most bodybuilders want to keep the illusion that the results they had were a result of what you mentioned: willpower, determination, and vision. We now know that's a bunch of bs. A lot of the regular, non-bodybuilding population still think that those physiques can be achieved with hard work. Personally, I lose a little respect for someone who lies about what it took to achieve their results.
