Good job, Sil. It's amazing how much better people feel inside and out when they include good, whole foods!.

I recently cut out all diet soft drinks and all I drink now is water, the juice from canned beets, grapefruit juice, homemade lemonade, and on occasion a little alcohol.

Also, plain fat free yogurt with fresh blueberries. I just feel better in general and hopefully it will help me heal quicker now that I'm in physical therapy.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Yes sir, but I have to be conservative with my vitamin K intake since my blood clots easily.

I used to mix up a glass regularly before I started having health problems. Lots of good nutrients in there!

You sound like those goofs by us that go to the juice specialty section in the market at Whole Foods. Do you order croissants as well with your fat free yogurt & blueberries?

I personally prefer black coffee with 5 eggs over easy and toast. Toss on a couple slabs of bacon and I’m gtg.

Nah, I'm man enough to mix up my own and don't eat much bread. I just don't really care for sweets, but I like my berries. Good antioxidants and the yogurt is good for healthy digestion.

My breakfast is generally oats or grits, and a mixture of eggs and egg whites with either grilled hamburger or grilled turkey crumbled up into it.

Lunch is usually steak, potato, and broccoli or asparagus. If I don't have that it's grilled hamburger, rice, leeks and carrots all mixed up together.

Evening meal varies grilled steelhead, chicken, or beef w/ whatever veggies I decide to eat.

In between meal snacks are a 50g of almonds or plain shredded wheat.

Thank you. Have a great day.

    Lol AG, was JK.

Our diets are pretty similar. I’m no longer a yogurt eater, used to though. Don’t do beet juice, but take beat root tablets. Oh yeah, I do the alcohol, but generally eat clean and with lots of beautiful fish and produce from the farmer’s market. The next two dinners will either be some killer scallops or King Salmon with a lot of veggies or large salads.
Edit: forgot it’s Memorial Day. Hamburgers, slaw & potatoe salad tonight; fish the next 2 nights.

    Have a great day too.
