The Covid battle was lost in February & March imo, thanks to overall selfishness & knuckleheadedness. 500 vaccines? Hell that’s a fraction of the number of healthcare workers that are refusing to vaccinate. No way this country is going to get the 75% - 85% of the population vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity.

Do your selves and family a favor, by checking with your physician to see the status of hospitals and ERs in your area in case you need one. That way should you need to call for an ambulance or go to ER for an emergency, you’ll know if they can accept you or how long it could take to get in. Of course that’s regional.
Ehh, I have a life insurance policy big enough to bury my ass and pay off our mortgage, so I’ll take my chances. I’ve had it once, and if a reinfection somehow takes me from “felt like a cold for a few days” to “dead”, I wasn’t fit for continued existence to begin with.
