I've said it many times...

Rioters should be locked up.
(and just so you know... not sure why people think all the rioters are democrats... surely many of them are just pure criminals... surely many of them aren't even old enough to vote...
surely some of them were right wingers stirring shit up, look up the umbrella man...)

But I understand, people think that Democrats allowed it to happen.
It also happened in Republican cities.

But I get it...
The radical left has views I don't agree with.
But...
The alt-right has views I don't agree with.
There is shit on both sides.

My main problem for the last four years has been with Trump...
Listen to his speech he is giving right now and tell me if you agree with anything he has said.

He is trashing the weak Republicans.
He is spreading conspiracy theories.
He is claiming the election was stolen.
He is weakening America.

Notice I didn't label the rioters as Democrats, I opted for "progressives" which is a totally different subset. The values of the Democratic party are drastically different from 20 years ago and I can say with a high level of confidence that the difference is in a socialist direction.

Re: Trump. I don't personally know the man, but I have a feeling that our personalities would clash and he would fire my ass in a heartbeat, BUT when I look at the alternative to Trump that we had, I voted Trump.

Not at all, my friend. I'm hoping we can set an example of how to engage is a respectful discussion from opposing viewpoints.

We have some members that thrive on painting pictures with a very large brush and in the process they smother the voices of those that tend to have a mixture of beliefs.

Honestly, I feel the biggest problem facing our country isn't truly a party affiliation, but just a total breakdown of moral responsibilities and values.

The thing is...

If the Senate and the House can just overide any election then the Democracy is no longer by the people.
As a Republican put it...
If the House and Senate were both controlled by the Democrats, like they will be tomorrow, then a Republican would never be elected President.
They could simply overide the election results.

The fact that 120 Reps and 14 Senators are protesting for show is a very dangerous game.

If the Republicans had the majority in the House of Reps then it would be conceivable that he would've managed to get everyone on board and overturn the results.


But yes... I agree with you.
