You actually won't believe this. The grey squirrel is considered an invasive species in the UK, and now that I have caught one, it is illegal for me to release it back into the wild. Furthermore, believe it or not, I am now actually obligated by UK law to kill the squirrel. UK laws says I must kill a grey squirrel if I have it in a trap.
