    thanks for your response.
You had good results and that's why you're still at 20% bodyfat? What were you before? And how are you even measuring this? If you're relying on one of those scales that tell you your bodyfat percentage if you stand on them barefoot, they really don't work that well.

If I were you, I'd get a meal plan together. Suddenly coming down to 2000 calories, if you're used to more (and from your stats you are) can be quite the challenge. Hell even a sirloin steak can be too fatty to meet your 30% fat plan. Eyeballing it or guessing always is a recipe for failure.

Dude wtf. That’s kinda rude about his bf %. A lot gets lost in text. Tone of voice especially. So maybe I’m misinterpreting what you said if so I apologize but if you said that to me I’d be offended.

I don't mean to sound mean, but let's not be delusional. This is my opinion here, if you're doing a cutting cycle and you get down to over 20%bf and you think that's a "good result," that tells me that you were no where near ready for running gear. Given his age, TRT might've been a good option for him, but really he should've been dieting without the gear.

Maybe 10 years ago I would've had a different opinion on using gear, but as I got older, I've learned to respect the drugs more. They're not a substitute for training hard and dieting properly. They're not a substitute for cardio.

And sorry if I was insulting, but there are other people (possibly some overweight kid) who is thinking about running gear when they shouldn't. I'd rather him feel insulted and stop from making a mistake than for him to risk fucking up his body for shit results.

I’m not disagreeing with your point. In fact I don’t have an opinion on it either way. I don’t think you’re wrong but I don’t think you’re right necessarily either. Maybe it’s not a perfect comparison but think of how many strongman guys are at like 25%BF or more yet they run huge amounts of gear. Admittedly they probably have a much better understanding of their bodies and gear , etc. but I think the comparison is relevant in that just having high BF alone, all other things being equal, doesn’t mean you can’t run gear.

There’s so many kinds of AAS. So many that don’t affect estrogen especially. So the blanket statement of having high bf means you shouldn’t run a cycle seems kinda narrow minded to me.

Just my opinion HK. Not trying to pick a fight with anyone. I just think helping OP by suggesting a different cycle would be more helpful than simply saying “don’t do it”.

We are all juiceheads here. A couple guys on a forum telling you to not run gear when you have your mind set on it isn’t going to dissuade you. Rather by helping OP with a suggestion that better fits his needs I think we all help each other more.

Hopefully that wasn’t too sissy lol but I do want to just help each other out and be welcoming and all that shit lol

LOL that cycle was a year ago. I got down to around 12% bf between the end of that cycle and the beginning of this year I came down with covid twice and broke my ankle late in the year. got lazy with all the laying around and was def. overeating and feeling lethargic. I do have have one of those scales just to keep a track with the numbers on there, but I also get my BF taken with a caliper test. have been on TRT for a little over 2 years now.
