Never been a big fan of air rifles they just don't have the range. Shooting on a small block of land I would just use a 22 with some quiet rounds that are around 600-700 fps or even some 22 shorts if I wanted to keep the noise down for the neighbour. Then you can use higher rounds like CCI stingers at around 1600fps. Very versatile in the same rifle.
