In the USA, I don't think you have to be too discrete about your guns because so many people have them.

I think here in the UK though, I need to be discrete when I get my revolver and take it home. I don't think I should be blabbing my mouth telling everyone about it, and I don't think I should be sharing photos around the place, for two reasons:
    (1) I don't want the police confiscating my gun
    (2) I don't want to be burgled for my gun

Now, that is good common sense! Believe it or not, even having a gun safe/saves does no good to brag about here in America. It does no good to invite trouble.

My state has open carry, but I keep my CWP renewed and carry concealed unless I'm working on our land or helping a neighbor.
To me, I feel like wearing it concealed gives you an advantage. That's no hit against those that prefer to open carry.

If you can legally obtain a firearm and keep it in your home, why would you be afraid of the police confiscating it?

If I were to share photographs or videos of me with my gun, then I probably shouldn't mess around in the photographs/videos. The cops can revoke my certificate if they think I'm taking photographs or making videos in which I'm messing around with my gun, like pretending to be a cowboy or whatever.

They revoke firearms certificates for other stuff too. One guy at the shooting range had the police called out to his house for a domestic with his wife, and they took his guns away.

Even if I'm caught speeding in my car or run a red light, I have to call the the firearms and explosives branch and tell them. If they make the decision that they don't want me to have a gun for whatever reason then they'll just revoke my certificate and take my gun away.

So if I do ever share videos/photographs of me with my gun then it would have to be pretty serious stuff at the shooting range. By law I think I'm only allowed to have my gun in 3 places:
    (1) At home
    (2) At the shooting range
    (3) In my own personal vehicle in transit to the shooting range (or on the way back home)

It would be very easy for them to revoke my certificate if they ever saw a photograph of me with my gun anywhere else. To be smart about it I should only take videos/photographs at the shooting range, and not messing around screaming Yee Haw like cowboy.

A friend of mine has a firearms certificate so I asked him if he could go to my gun club and take my revolver and bring it to his club so that we can shoot there, but by law he's forbidden to transport in his vehicle any gun other than what's listed on his own firearms certificate.

I've run across several on ammoseek, etc. When I got to looking around, several of them had numerous complaints and their websites were actually "copycat" sights. I usually stick to SG, Widener's, etc.

How good of a deal were they offering?

I'm still salty over Bayou Bullets. I bought some 45 ACP projectiles during the "holocough," and it took them almost a whole year to mail them to me. I even tried contacting them via email. Not one response. Then I get a notice that my order has been shipped and it was so long, I nearly forgot I even ordered it.

Were you trying to get ammo, cast bullets or jacketed bullets, H_K? ...or did you get what you needed?

I was trying to get their powder-coated cast bullets (just the projectiles). Eventually, I got what I needed, but it took forever. And quality-wise I would say I got exactly what I was expecting with them. They didn't look visibly unbalanced or anything. My 1911 liked them, but I should've spent more money and got them from somewhere else.

It was pretty cheap. I forgot exactly what I paid, but I remember shipping almost cost more than the projectiles. Here's what they look like:

TLDR. I don't normally support gun laws, but any law keeping a gun out of your hands is a good one.
