    Prohormones and myocardial infarction

As we all know if we put something foreign in our body it can have positive and negative affects. Recently a friend of mine was working in a stress lab doing a stress test on a early 30 year old guy, anywhase they stopped the test becuase it should signs of myocardial infarction, which is dead tissue in the heart. The man was apparently healthy except for the fact he had abused prohormones and had used clenabuterol extensively. Needless to say he is probably on a quick trip to living under the sod earlier than he expected. This is just a reminder to all about abusing these substances as they can be very dangerous.

I was aware that clen can cause this, but does ephedrine also cause this?

i was under the impression that it was just hardened tissue in the heart....

most of the time it is caught during EKG stress testing, i m not sure what 3 weeks would do to your heart. But it results from the heart beating at a such a high rate for a long period of time, then heart muscles results in left verntricle hypertrohpy of dead tissue, which reduces blood flow and conduction. But

Funny just had a test on the blood, heart, arteries and veins with all the circulation in my anatomy+physiology II course today so I actually know what your referring to.

When you say the Left ventricle hypertrophy, do you mean that the Left ventricle becomes dead and it cant send the oxygenated blood to the Aortic Semilunar valve and out the aorta to the rest of the body?

I dont see how high heart rate would cause the dead tissue, becuase if thats the case then many other stimulants that increase heart rate, adrenaline and epinephrine would result in this?

Can someone furthur elaborate becuase I would like to know if the 3 weeks of clen at 80mgs damaged me horribly.
