    Shoulder Help

How many sets are good enough for shoulders? I hear different stories about doing only a few sets, and what not.

    Would this be considered overttraining?

seated barbell military press (3 sets)
    dumbell Side laterals (3 sets)
    dumbell front laterals (3 sets)
cable rear delts(reverse pec dec) (3 sets)

Only you can tell forsure, bro. I would say that you wouldn't have to worry about overtraining.

In fact, I'm assuming you might hit traps on back days; in which case, you realistically have room to toss in some heavy shrugs with the above routine (3 sets, for example).

As you know, it all ***ends on intensity, diet, etc...However, I think what you are doing now would be fine.

It also ***ends on the rest of your routine... are you working them on a day of their own or with say chest... If on a day of their own i would say 3/4 for is good i normaly have the rule of the thump that smaller muscles like shoulders should have 3 ex's if it was me i would swap between side laterals one week and front lateral the next this way you change things up and run less risk of over training.... But it all ***ends if you have shoulders the size of bowling balls then you may need to do 4.

    hope this helps.
