Keep getting upset stomach while working out

All summer long I have been having a hard time with my workouts. I keep getting a slightly queezy stomach every workout, and my stomach bloats up, and I keep burping and feeling like I am going to puke water or something. I wonder if it the heat its been around 110 all summer. I eat a regular meal 1 to 1.5 hours before a workout. I dont take any n.o. or creatin right now, and I dont drink any energy drinks except for a black pearl on arm day.

Sounds like you guys are dealing with a**ominal muscle overexertion. Use your ponter and middle finger to push down on your abs and around them to see if there are any tender spots.

Yeah i am thinking about that, just hate to do it because it would take a meal out of my day. I have been eating this time before workouts for years, I guess my body could just be changing. I will give it a try perfect beast.

still happens to me .....i have to fight for it ..... if i eat 2 to 3 hrs before iam fine, but sometimes work schedule does not permit me to do that and i end eating 1 hr before and feeling like hurling. I just take deep breaths and buckle down mentally.

I had heartburn, sometimes I would get the "burn", but not always. Burping with near regurgitation was the common thing. If you have some apple cider vinegar around, try taking a teaspoon or two before you work out and see if it helps.

Try prilosec and eating a smaller meal 2 hours before you train not 1 hour. Whey protein shakes can make you very sick to your stomach. Hydro whey works better IMO..

digestive enzymes will do wonders for you stomach esp with your big meals..my brother used to have the same problem and he switched to liquid calories(ensure, meal replacement shit..) before his WO with a little solid food but kept it light(he also pushed this meal back to at least 2 hours befor his WO), altho i know this doesnt work for everyone personally those shakes kick my stomaches ass...you could also be putting extra stress on your diaphragm/stomach if you are a force feeder..that shit puts a heavy strain on you internally, over time..after years of forcing food down, my bro can barely hold anything solid down when he works out

So maybe the fact that I have been pretty much a permanant bulker for the last 10 years forcing myself to eat way more than whats comfortable might be a part of it.

hey guys got the same problem. Started about a week ago, same time i cought cold. but now it feels like there is an air pocket in my lower throat all the time, and i have to burp up all the time. Possibly post nasal drip but my throat isn't sore at all. Also if i try to burp up hard, mostly a lot of saliva comes up, sometimes acid. it has really been bugging me this past week, especially when i work out.
I've also started new cutting diet last week, and I am taking in about 3 shakes a day - could that be it?

It's probably the protein powder. It makes a lot of people sick to their stomachs (including myself) because the cheap fillers cause acid reflux and gas. Get some hydro-whey and cut the shakes back to 2 a day. Prilosec will also help!

I get the same thing. It started on legs or back day, now it is every workout. I started eating oatmeal as my preworkout meal and it has calmed my stomach down.

I throw up or come close to throw up every leg day, no matter when my meal is. "everybody wanna be a bodybuilder......"-RC, lol

this is different, I've cut out all protein shakes right now and taking zantac, and Gaviscon, still not helping, just feels like there is an air bubble stuck in my troat every time i burp up. I also have a constant headache but that could be related to a cold or flu i am having.

ok no more headaches , but still feels like food/air is sitting just below my throat, every time i swallow or burp up, feels like pressure and air is stuck somewhere in my adam's apple area. When i get up in the morning same thing. feeling really crapply and zantac and gaviscon are not really helping.
